The Club offers a wide range of memberships to suit your needs from a simple social membership to a full competition and patrolling membership.

Membership Ages and Categories
Active Members: Are those who hold a currently proficient Bronze Medallion or Surf Rescue Certificate. They are required to undertake patrol duties as rostered by the Club Captain and cannot compete in Surf Lifesaving competition unless they fulfil these obligations of 25 patrolling hours per year. Active membership is divided into various categories, commencing at 15 years of age.
Nippers: Any child who is a minimum age of 5 years old before 30th September of each season or a maximum age of 13 years old at the same date is eligible to become a nipper Member.
Only Active and Award members are entitled to vote at Club AGMs and Special General Meetings
- Under 6 years
- Juniors 7 to 13 years
- Cadets 13 to 15 Years – This is the eligible age to obtain your Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC)
- Juniors 15 to 18 years – This is the eligible age to obtain your Bronze Medallion
- Seniors 18+ years
- Veterans & Masters
